This is a 1 v 1 fighting samurai game built around one-hit strikes. In this presentation game director, Peter Adamondy explains the core concept while showing off some of that brutal gameplay.
You play as a fireman who’s called into a situation well above his pay grade. This is our best look at the game so far and shows off the DOOM 3/Deadspace inspired setting and shooting. You can see a hud-less design as well as combat that looks to be designed somewhat around shooting the limbs off enemies to take them out.

In this developer presentation, Saide Haberstroh explains the core concept behind the Gollum game coming from Daedlic Entertainment. There’s no gameplay, but some interesting concept art shown off alongside what seems like proper screenshots of the game.
Kev Harrison, the design lead on Smalland walks through the core concept of Smallland, a game that is going to instantly draw a comparison to Grounded, even if it seems this was announced prior to that game.
I’ve had my eye on Sable since its reveal. It has an instantly recognizable minimalistic comic-book-like art style. In this video, several of the areas of the game are shown off beside questing and riding around on machine bikes.
This is an interesting open-world tactical RPG where you control a party of goblins. Level them up, assign powers and more as you fight back against a deadly fog.
From Team17, this is set in the Escapist universe and tasks you with surviving on a desert. Build shelters, farm, fight predators and even train monkeys.
A better look at Lemnis Gate which was announced during the Opening Night Live presentation Friday morning for Gamescom. This tactical, turn-based shooter plays out over 25 seconds and ten rounds.

Cyber-noir point and click adventure game set in a futuristic Singapoint where you have to use real-world research to solve puzzles. Which does sound like a lot and possibly confusing? It’s coming to Switch, PC and Mac with a free prologue demo available from September 30th via Steam.
Warzone mode director Phil Therian explains how the different game modes in Avengers have been designed for different player types. He then goes over the ‘raid’ like missions. The game is out on Xbox One, PS4 and PC on September 4th.

After making its debut at the last Future Games Showcase this new video shows off the co-op online spy puzzle-solving that needs smarts and co-ordination between players.
A better look at the flashback tapes that were revealed during Opening Night Live on Friday morning. This video showcases the hard levels with Lou Studdert, a producer at Toys for Bob explaining the team was seeking to add the challenge of the original game.
