Annapurna Interactive Showcase 2023 once again took us across the world with the many different studios that the publisher is working with, from Australia to Japan and the U.S. A few new games reveals, release dates for previously announced games as well as the reveal of Annapurna Interactive’s first internally developer game made for a tight and well-paced show.

Here are all the trailers and news from the 2023 Annapurna Interactive Showcase.

Loreli and The Laser Eyes

An absolutely freaky trailer for Lorelei and The Laser Eyes, which is still set to release sometime in 2023.

Cocoon

A new gameplay trailer for Cocoon plus a release date of September 29th on PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch and PC.

Lushfoil Photography Sim

Australian photography game from Perth! This looks like a combination of drone and handheld photography in a variety of beautiful locations around the world.

Marumittu Games – Developer Spotlight

A developer spotlight on Marumittu Games, which is made up of a married couple who tried making games together, and it’s stuck since. They’re working on a new untitled game to be published by Annapurna Interactive, but no trailer was shown for the game.

to a T

What a song. What a vibe. to a T is from Keita Takahashi and has all the weirdness you’d expect from a Katamari game. You’re a kid who’s stuck in a t-pose. What a concept.

Flock

Here’s a fresh look at Flock, a game about gathering birds to join your flock and hanging out with friends.

Ghostbike

The ride of your afterlife is coming in Ghostbike, which is set to release in 2024. Not much was shown in this trailer outside, so bike riding itself.

Glass Revolver – Developer Spotlight

Another spotlight video, this time on Jacob Williams, the developer behind Glass Revolver, who is currently working on We Kill Monsters. The game started as a 2D project like their last, Ita, but Jacob scrapped that to start it in 3D again.

Mundaun

The hand-pencilled horror game that was originally released in 2021 is now coming to PS5 and Xbox Series XC in a free upgrade (if you own the game already), which adds 60 frames and 4K resolution.

Bounty Star

A gameplay overview trailer re-introduces the world of Bountry Star, the lead character, mech combat, farming and more. Still no solid release date.

Stray

Stray is coming to Xbox on August 10th.

Thirsty Suitors

Here’s an insane new trailer for Thirsty Suitors, the game about battling your exes and disappointing parents. The game also received a release date of November 2nd. No platforms were on screen, but the game was previously announced for PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch and PC.

Storyteller

Storyteller is getting a free update with new characters and scenarios, and it’s also coming to Netflix on September 26th.

Bladerunner 2033: Labyrinth

The first internally developed game from Annapurna Interactive is Bladerunner 2033: Labyrinth. Nothing outside this very teaser teaser trailer was shown, but it’s exciting nonetheless.

That’s everything from the showcase. You can watch it in full if you’d like below.
