To the surprise of no one, two Xbox games, Grounded and Pentiment, showed up during the first Nintendo Direct Partner Showcase for 2024.
There was plenty more to get excited about during this showcase if neither of those games is your style, with a remaster of Disney Epic Mickey, Penny’s Big Breakaway, Pepper Grinder, Shin Megami Tensei V and more.
Here’s everything announced during this morning’s Nintendo Direct: Partner Showcase.
Grounded
The Honey I Shrunk the Kids-inspired game, which was an Xbox exclusive, is coming to Nintendo Switch on April 16.
ENDER MAGNOLIA: Bloom in the mist
Presumably set in the same universe, but it doesn’t seem to be a direct sequel to Ender Lilies; Quietus of the Knight; this looks like another Metroidvania with some fantastic art and tough battles. This is coming to Nintendo Switch later this year.
Arranger: A Role-Puzzling Adventure
This puzzle game is set in a world where everything moves as you move, and it’s coming to Nintendo Switch later this year.
Unicorn Overlord
A new RPG from VanillaWare, and there’s a demo out today, ahead of the March 8 release date.
Monster Hunter Stories
This entry in the Monster Hunter universe, which was released on the Nintendo 3DS, will now be coming to Nintendo Switch, PlayStation and PC later this year with some updated visuals and new voiceovers.
Disney Epic Mickey: Rebrushed
One of the best Nintendo Wii games is getting a fresh brush of paint with Disney’s Epic Mickey coming to Nintendo Switch later in 2024.
Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance
This is an updated version of Shin Megami Tensei V, but it’s getting some new content, including a new storyline and demons.
STAR WARS: Battlefront Classic Collection
Fan-favourite Star Wars games Battlefront and Battlefront II are coming to Nintendo Switch, Xbox, PlayStation and PC with new characters to play and new maps.
SOUTH PARK: SNOW DAY!
You play as the new kid and will participate in Snow Battles alongside key South Park characters in multiplayer battles or alongside some bots.
SWORD ART ONLINE Fractured Daydream
The latest SAO game sees you team up with a friend in co-op or alone to take town massive raids.
GUNDAM BREAKER 4
Build your Gundam with access to parts from over 250 kits and go to battle against other mechs.
Super Monkey Ball Banana Rumble
A brand new Super Monkey Ball game with support for 16-player multiplayer is coming to Nintendo Switch on June 16.
World of Goo 2
World of Goo 2 has a release date and will be released on May 23 as a Switch-first exclusive.
FANTASY LIFE i: The Girl Who Steals Time
Farming and Life-Sim Fantasy Life has a new entry releasing on October 10, and you can play with up to three friends.
Another Crab’s Treasure
You must track down your shell using whatever trash you find to protect yourself in Another Crab’s Treasure, which is releasing on April 25.
Penny’s Big Breakaway
The throwback platform from some of the key people behind recent Sonic games is out now. I recently previewed Penny’s Big Breakway and liked what I played!
Suika Game Multiplayer Mode Expansion Pack
The popular game for streamers and those who want to lose time is getting a paid DLC that adds local multiplayer at first and online later.
Pepper Grinder
Pepper Grinder has a demo out now on Nintendo Switch ahead of its release on March 28. I recently previewed the game based on the Steam Next Fest demo and really enjoyed it!
Pocket Card Jockey: Ride On!
The Apple Arcade exclusive is coming to Nintendo Switch, and it is out today.
Snufkin: Melody of Moominvalley
A release date for Snufkin: Melody of Moominvalley has been set, and you can look forward to playing this game on March 7.
Tales of Kenzera: ZAU

Pentiment
The other Xbox game to be announced for Nintendo Switch, Pentiment, will be released today.
Nintendo Switch Online and Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack
A bunch of classic Rare games are coming to the Expansion Pack subscription today.
Endless Ocean Luminous
The Nintendo Direct ended with an announcement of a new Endless Ocean game. In Endless Ocean Luminous, which is releasing on May 2, you’ll be able to encounter 500 species of marine life and team up with up to 30 players online to dive and explore together.
