THQ Nordic held their 2025 Showcase overnight, announcing new games and providing updates on others. Overall, they delivered a tight and not-overlong showcase, which I can always appreciate.
Here’s all the trailers and news from the THQ Nordic 2025 Showcase.
SpongeBob SquarePants: Titans of the Tide
A new SpongeBob game is on the way from Purple Lamp, and the trailer even features David Hasselhoff. This 3D platformer sees Flying Dutchman and King Neptune colliding and causing a bunch of trouble, which then SpongeBob and Patrick must team up to help stop.
SpongeBob SquarePants: Titans of the Tide is coming to PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch 2 on November 18th.
Wreckreation
In a new look Wreckreation, the trailer demonstrates the open world, and the vehicular destruction that Fields Entertainment are delivering. Enjoy this one either solo or with friends, and it looks like you can design your own tracks too.
Wreckreation doesn’t have a release date yet, but it is coming to PC, PlayStation 5|4, and Xbox.
Tides of Tomorrow
This new trailer for Tides of Tomorrow features some new developer commentary over the top of the trailer that had already been released. It doesn’t offer much new information, except for the introduction of a new location at the end of the trailer, where people come to dance until death.
Tides of Tomorrow is coming to PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S on February 24, 2026.
Wreckfest 2
A different game about destruction, but still about cars: this one is all about crashing, however. And Early Access is coming soon to consoles, with the game already available in Early Access for PC.
Wreckfest 2 is available for PC in Early Access and will be coming to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S at a later date!
Sacred 2 Remaster
This is the first remaster in this showcase, something that the previous THQ Nordic Showcase had relied heavily upon. Nonetheless, Sacred 2 Remaster looks like it’s going to deliver the ARPG goodness that fans love about the series.
There’s no release date for Sacred 2 Remaster yet, but the game is coming to PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
The Eternal Life of Goldman
The trailer that stood out to me the most from this showcase, The Eternal Life of Goldman, initially looks like another side-scrolling platform action game, but quickly the voice-over builds into something darker and darker. Equally, the world, combat, and platforming happening on-screen all become more interesting.
The Eternal Life of Goldman is coming to PC, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S!
Titan Quest II
A new trailer for Tian Quest II was released with the game releasing into Early Access on PC today. It looks good, and the best part is that if you really want to dive in and play it now, you can.
Titan Quest II is available now in Early Access on PC.
The Guild – Europa 1410
This trailer was heavy on live-action elements, and I’m not sure if they’ll be in the game at all, but they were put together preety well. This is a strategy-sim in which you’re building a dynasty, through generations of a family.
The Guild – Europa 1410 is coming to PC.
Gothic 1 Remake
A new trailer for Gothic 1 Remake showcases the story, as well as how much more alive and intense the world and combat both look in this brutal world where you’ll wield magic powers. A demo is now available on consoles for you to check out.
Gothic 1 Remake launches in early 2026 on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S.
Gothic Classic Series
If you’re looking for original Gothic, Gothic 1 Classic, Gothic 2 Classic Complete, and Gothic 3 Classic, are all coming to PlayStation 5 and Xbox in 2026.
REANIMAL
A very creepy new trailer for REANIMAL showed how much more action-heavy this new game from the creators of Little Nightmares and Little Nightmares 2 is going to be.
REANIMAL is coming to PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch 2.
The team also released a full trailer for the Collector’s Edition of the game.
You can pre-order it now, but it is an EB World PLUS exclusive.
Fatekeeper
A new game was announced, titled Fatekeeper, and it’s coming to Early Access on PC later this year. It looks like it’s a heavy fantasy-world action RPG. It’s from a new studio formed by former Grimlore Games developers known for SpellForce 3.
Fatekeeper is coming to PC in Early Access later in 2025.
Darksiders 4
The showcase ended with a teaser trailer and announcement that Darksiders 4 is real. After years since first seeing the end of the first game, it looks like we’ll finally be picking up where that one left off as we hear Liam O’Brien deliver the line “No. Not alone.”
