Yes, Christmas is nearly here, and the year is about to come to a close, and so it is that Explosion Network shall have a slight break over the holiday season. We’ll be going on leave from the 24th until the 2nd of January, and although we’ll be back in the office from January 3rd as our Best of 2022 content begins to roll out, we’ll still be a few weeks away from our regularly scheduled podcast programming.

Here’s all your information regarding our podcast breaks and the Best of 2022 lists and content.

Best of 2022

As per-usual, our Best of 2022 content shall take place over three weeks. The first is dedicated to celebrating television series, the second is video games, and the third is for movies. During this time, we’ll be releasing a few special podcast episodes, and our regular assortment of Top 5 and the Top 10 lists, for each category.

TV Week: January 2nd – Saturday 7th
Games Week: January 9ths – Saturday 14th
Movie Week: January 16th – Saturday 21st

I’m listing each show that’ll be taking a break, or having sporadic episodes below, so you know if you’ll be missing your favourite Explosion Network podcast for a couple of weeks.

Arcade Couch & Arcade Couch: Between the Cushions

The final episode of AC/ACBC for 2022 will release on December 19th.

A bonus episode of Arcade Couch will release on January 10th with our Personal Favourite Games of 2022, and then another short episode on the 14th will celebrate the Explosion Network’s Best Game of 2022 pick.

Arcade Couch returns to its regular Monday slot on January 23rd, with Arcade Couch: Between the Cushions the following Monday, January 30th.

Holocron Entries

The Bad Batch: Season 2 begins on January 4th, so ‘The Very Bad Batch,’ our spoilercast and review discussion, will return on the Holocron Entries podcast feed.
