Marvel has announced that the Eyes of Wakanda animated series has been moved up and will now release on August 1.
The series is four episodes long and follows the adventures of different Wakandan warriors throughout history. The series features the voices of Winnie Harlow, Cress Williams, Patricia Belcher, Larry Herron, Adam Gold, Lynn Whitfield, Jacques Colimon, Jona Xiao, Isaac Robinson-Smith, Gary Anthony Williams, Zeke Alton, Steve Toussaint and Anika Noni Rose.
Todd Harris directs the series in his first writer/director project, but this isn’t his first time working in the MCU. He’s been a storyboard artist across films like Avengers: Endgame, Black Panther, Black Widow, Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings and more non-MCU films like John Wick: Chapter 4, Mufasa: The Lion King and more. He’s also recently worked as an illustrator on Sinners, as he’s become a close collaborator with Black Panther director Ryan Coogler.
