After weeks of building up by releasing ‘legacy trailers’ for all previous films in the ‘Fast Saga,’ the official trailer for Fast X has debuted. 

At three minutes and forty-three seconds, this is an extended trailer with what looks to be ten movies worth of stuff happening in it, but rest assured, this is for one film. The second-last of the Fast Saga, with whatever they decided to call the next film supposed to finish up the long-running car-racing, car-stunts, car-tank-flipping spectacle that is all about family.

The bad guy this time is played by Jason Mamoa, who appears to be playing the son of Hernan Reyes, the bad guy for Fast Five. Interestingly it was Hobbs who killed Reyes in that film, although Dwayne Johnson is not in this film and is likely not to sure show up as he and Vin Diesel have had more than a few reported issues with one another.

Other new characters in the trailer are Rita Moreno as Dom’s mother (where has she been?) and Brie Larson as an unknown character, but it appears she is here to help Dom. Returning characters included Michelle Rodrigue as Letty, Jordana Brewster as Mia, Ludacris as Tej, Tyrese Gibson as Roman and Sung Kang as Han. Plus, Jason Statham is back as Shaw and John Cena is returning as Dom’s brother Jakob, but he is on the good-guys team in this film and not working with Cypher, played by Charlize Theron, who is also in this film.

In short: everyone but The Rock is back for Fast X.
