First DLC For Marvel’s Spider-Man ‘The Heist’ Is Out Next Week

If you’ve recently wrapped up grabbing the Spider-Man platinum and you’re dying for some content, worry not, as the first DLC is dropping next week on October 23rd.

Firstly, check out this amazing artwork for the DLC from Marvel illustrator and suit designer Adi Granov.

The first of three parts in ‘The City That Never Sleeps,’ ‘The Heist’ will see Spider-Man and MJ bump into Black Cat, who teases Spider-Man in the main game and basically sets up their confrontation in this story.

As explained by Ryan Smith the game director at Insomniac Games in a PS Blog post, this first DLC will set up a story of interconnected stories in the following upcoming chapters, ‘Turf Wars’ and ‘Silver Linings.’

On top of the story missions, there will also be new enemies, crimes and challenges and 5 suits for players to unlock which Ryan talked about in the post.

One we’d love to highlight is the Resilient Suit, by famed Marvel illustrator Gabriele Dell’Otto. We loved bringing original suits to the game, starting with our Advanced Suit, and continuing with Adi Granov’s Velocity Suit, and this is another great one.

Additionally we have two more suits that fans of the comics will recognize, Spider-Man’s suit from Scarlet Spider II, and the Spider-UK suit from the Spider-Verse.

You will be able to purchase ‘The Heist’ separately when it releases or you can buy ‘The City That Never Sleeps’ full series which will get you the following two chapters as well for $29.95
