The team at Serenity Forge revealed their new game, Fractured Blooms, at Summer Game Fest 2025.
Being pitched as a ‘psychological horror farming sim,‘ the trailer shows the lead character completing typical farming objectives, such as planting tomatoes, but there’s a constant feeling of unease. Be it the voice-overs repeating words over and over or some of the objectives being written in glyphs.

Fractured Bloom’s deep narrative of trauma and abuse unfolds through an interconnected time loop where wits and resources are vital to uncovering the truth. While cozy on the surface, an unsettling force emerges the deeper you fall into the loop. Time begins to fracture, memories resurface, and your house starts to reveal its true horrors. Discover what you’re really trying to keep alive.
You have to choose how you’ll handle your farming each day, as tending to your garden is going to drain your stamina. But also, the meals you can cook with those foods will help you at night. You’ll need to mix ingredients to make the night segments easier, and you’ll also need to pay attention to making the right choices about how you use your stamina.
“Fractured Blooms is the most personal game I’ve ever worked on. It’s inspired by real stories from my own family and the quiet suffering that often goes unseen in our world,” said Zhenghua (Z) Yang, Founder/CEO of Serenity Forge and Game Director of Fractured Blooms. “We built this game to invite empathy, grace, and reflection. Our hope is that Fractured Blooms sparks real conversations that bring people closer together across different backgrounds, and across the walls we sometimes build around our hearts.”
