Following several days of rumours and leaks, developer Sucker Punch has revealed Ghost of Tsushima: Directors Cut for both PS4 and PS5, although there are some slight differences between the versions.
Ghost of Tsushima: Director’s Cut will include a brand new expansion set after the main game’s events on Iki Island. Jin will travel to the island to investigate rumours of a Mongol presence and find himself “caught up in traumatic moments from his past.”
The Iki Island expansion will include brand new armour for Jin, new techniques to learn, new enemy types, mini-games, animals to pet, and much more. Of course, there shall also be brand unique trophies to earn for this expansion.
On both the PS4 & PS5 versions of Ghost of Tsushima: Director’s Cut, the Iki Island expansion shall be included, as well as any other DLC and content that’s been added since the release of the game.
However, the PS5 version of the game is getting some exclusive additional features, and they’re listed below.
-
Japanese voice-over lip sync
-
DualSense haptic feedback and adaptive triggers
-
Enhancements to 3D audio
-
