Ghostunner 2 was officially announced during this morning’s PlayStation Showcase, and it’s taking the already intense FPS cyberpunk game to the next level.

Set one year after the events of the first game, Ghostrunenr 2 will once again see players controlling protagonist Jack, who will emerge from Dharma Tower and, for the first time, explore the wasteland that is beyond. Developer One More Level promises the fast-paced “push-forward” combat will return but will up the ante in more than one way, including the addition of vehicular combat with Jack taking to the wastelands on a motorcycle.

Hopefully, it’s confirmed that Daniel Deluxe is returning to do the soundtrack as well.

Ghostrunner 2 will be released later in 2023 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC.
