The Grammy Awards were announced on Friday, and alongside the big nominations for album and record of the year, the nominations for albums related to visual media and video games were also announced.
The combination of TV and film in the ‘Score for Visual Media’ category seems to miss a few series and movies that deserve nominations. This feels like a category that could, deservingly, be split into two different awards. And when it comes to the video game nominations, the lack of a soundtrack nomination for Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 feels like a significant, surprising omission.
