HyperX is amidst a new line of content creator gear that includes the company’s first webcam, an audio mixer, and a mounting arm. The webcam is out now, while the audio mixer and mounting arm will be released soon.
The HyperX Vision S Webcam is equipped with the Sony Starvis 8MP sensor, can capture in 4K, has a 90-degree field-of-view, autofocus, and a magnetic privacy cover. You can pair the HyperX ProCast XLR microphone or another non-HyperX microphone with the HyperX Audio Mixer Interface, which is being marketed as an all-in-one compact solution for creators. It includes XLR input with 48v phantom power, support for 24-bit/96khz audio and direct monitoring. There are level faders across all three audio inputs and, of course, volume knobs for the headphone outputs. And finally, the HyperX Caster is the company’s first arm, which HyperX is saying is the “first completely toolless, spring-loaded arm on the market for microphones and webcams.” The arm has 1/4 “, 3/8″, or 5/8” threading, which means it should work with any cam or microphone you’d want to put on it, but the selling point seems to be the usability of which you can fold it away when not in use.
“We are excited to expand our portfolio of products and provide a more complete creator solution. The Vision S Webcam offers superb video quality and user-friendly features, and the Audio Mixer Audio Interface provides content creators with professional-grade sound. Since the listening experience for a content viewer is so important, we’ve added a volume meter to offer a quick and easy way to check input levels at any time. HyperX remains committed to enhancing the gaming and content creation experience, empowering users to unleash their full potential.” said a HyperX spokesperson.
The Vision S Webcam is out now in Australia for an RRP of $359, and the Audio Mixer and Caster are expected to launch soon.
