The game previously known as Gods & Monsters and now Immortals: Fenyx Rising was shown off properly during this mornings’ Ubisoft Froward showcase.
In Immortals: Fenyx Rising you create your character before being washed on the Greek isles and are gifted with the wings of Daidalos. Your mission is to save the gods from the Typhon, the titan.
The game is an open-world adventure game which seems to incorporate elements of Breath of the Wild and typical Ubisoft titles. There’s even ‘vaults’ hidden around the island with puzzles to solve that were shown off in the Ubisoft Forward post-show that seemed like this games equivalent to Breath of the Wilds’ shrines.
Amongst fighting big and small monsters you’ll also be solving puzzles in ‘trials’ and slowly removing the corruption that Typhon has spread across the lands.
Immortals: Fenyx Rising is releasing on December 3rd for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Stadia and PC.
