Ubisoft has revealed its plans for PAX Aus 2026, with Rainbow Six Siege esports, playable demos of upcoming games and a weekend of community events heading to Melbourne from October 9-11.

The PAX Arena will become the Ubisoft Community & Esports Stage for the weekend, headlined by the Rainbow Six Siege APL Oceanic Stage Finals.

Four of Oceania’s top teams will compete across the three days for a share of a $40,000 prize pool, as well as a place at the Osaka Major in November.

Outside of the competition, Ubisoft is opening the stage up for several community events. These include an Assassin’s Creed sea shanty singalong, a Ubisoft cosplay runway and a Just Dance dance-along.

Rainbow Six Siege players will also have the chance to go one-on-one with Martin Copping, the voice of Australian Operator Max “Mozzie” Goose.

There’ll be plenty to play at PAX as well. Ubisoft is bringing demos of Rayman Legends Retold and Just Dance: Decades of Hits, while Heroes of Might & Magic III: Remake will be playable at the Aftershock booth.

Ubisoft is also teaming up with Australian gaming show Back Pocket for Back Pocket’s Ubisoft PAX Prime at the Quokka Theatre on Saturday, October 11 at 2:30 PM. Austin Creed and John Robertson will join the Back Pocket crew for the show, which Ubisoft promises will include games, giveaways and, apparently, a two-person horse costume.

An exclusive Assassin’s Creed collectible is also up for grabs.

Attendees can collect stamps from Ubisoft activities throughout PAX to complete a Stamp Rally Card and earn an Australia-exclusive Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced pin. Only a limited number will be available each day.

Anyone who completes the Stamp Rally will also enter the draw to win a custom helmet inspired by Rainbow Six Siege’sMozzie.

PAX Aus 2026 takes place at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre from October 9-11.
