Intel Extreme Masters Melbourne 2025 will see esports and Counter-Strike 2 return to the Rod Laver Arena, filling the void left by DreamHack’s cancellation.

The event will take place from April 21 to 27, 2025, with the playoffs happening on the weekend of April 25 to 27. The series of games will see sixteen of the world’s best Counter-Strike 2 teams face off against each other for their stake in the $1M prize.

ESL FACEIT Group expects this to be the biggest esports event in Australian history, following the sold-out event in Sydney in 2023, which had 20,000 fans in attendance.

You can buy attendance tickets now for $189 for General Admission at this link.
