Mike Bithell has announced his next ‘Bithell Short’ is an experimental twist on solitaire. Yep, that’s right, the classic game of Solitaire. Even my Pop could play this one.
The Solitaire Conspiracy was announced by Mike Bithell on Twitter overnight with a pretty solid pitch:
“So… what if Solitaire, but extra, with powers and a full FMV storied campaign, time attack and skirmish modes!”

“>
Based on the games trailer and the pitch, you should have some idea how it plays. I’m sure everyone has played Solitaire before. When I was in school it was the only game you could get away with playing during class as teachers didn’t know how to remove it from the PC.
There are three modes in the game, which makes it a lot meatier than past ‘Bithell Shorts’ Subsurface Circular and Quarantine Circular.
-
The campaign tells a tightly packed story and introduces the game’s mechanics.
-
Countdown tests your endurance with wave after wave of unique decks.
-
Skirmish gives you an infinite playground to enjoy unlocked crews.
The story mode also includes FMV cutscenes featuring Greg Miller and Inel Tomlinson. What a combo!
The Solitaire Conspiracy releases on October 7th via Steam.
