In the first trailer for Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes, a brand new chapter begins.

This new film is set several generations after the reign of Caesar, and we’re now into the time period in which apes are the dominant species, while humans are living in the shadows and hunted. It seems like we’re ever so slowly approaching the time period of the original Planet of the Apes film.
