Liminal Exit Trailer Reveals Creepy Backrooms-Inspired Walking Sim

Following in the successful footsteps of The Exit 8, indie developer LittleRedDread have released a trailer for their upcoming walking-sim/backrooms game with psychological horror elements, Liminal Exit.

In the game, you’re exploring a big building, but you’re looping unless you can find all of the anomalies within it to escape. There’s also an AI that’s teasing you with your failures, which I’m sure is an excellent source of motivation.

You choose to explore the backrooms, but now you are trapped in a looping building. Now find the anomalies, break the loops and reach the Exit in these familiar yet chilling liminal spaces.

The hugely successful Exit 8 debuted in 2023 and achieved significant success through streamers and content creators playing the game. It’s now being turned into a movie which will be released in Japan in August, though there’s no Australian release date yet.
