Loki is slipping through time and looking for a way to stop it in the first official trailer for Loki: Season 2.

The first season of Loki saw Tom Hiddleston realising he’s a man out of his timeline, his death in his real timeline, and the many different alternate realities featuring Loki. The season ended with Loki-variant Sylvie (Sophia Di Martino) killing ‘He Who Remains’ (Jonathan Majors) after discovering he’s been the puppeteer behind the alternate realities.

Check out the official trailer below.

Based on the trailer for Loki: Season 2, it seems like Loki, Sylvie and Mobius (Owen Wilson) will be dealing with the new future and realities in a world with ‘He Who Remains’ being killed. Although Majors will be back as different versions of Kang the Conqueror, the one seen in the trailer is named Victor Timely. The trailer also features a new character and TVA worker OB (Academy Award winner, Ke Huy Quan).

Marvel is in a tough spot with Loki, as the trailer genuinely looks good, and Loki‘s first season was well-received by critics and fans. However, the show will now have to deal with, or, I guess, choose not to deal with, Jonathon Majors’ arrest earlier in the year and his being charged with assault and harassment regarding a domestic dispute.

Loki: Season 2 will be streaming on Disney+ from October 6th.
