Love Colors is a pixelised, paint-by-numbers art game. A relaxing and fun title with over 150 individual images to colour. Love Colors can be played solo or with up to three others, utilising both controllers and touch screen to colour.

A family-friendly title, Love Colors hits its mark with its simplistic design and play style. The game has many options for painting, and players can use fingers, stylus, or controller to choose from the palette of colours available. Sharing the experience with friends is easy; select the co-op option from the menu, connect the controllers, and off you go. The zoom function allows the artist a variety of views, zoom out to see the full form of the artwork, and move up close to enhance those finer details.

The music in the game is a relaxing piano score, never distracting the artist from work; it makes for peaceful and content feelings working on the pieces. The piano gives the impression of viewing the art in a gallery.

The pixel art stylings have a broad variety, ranging from the very straightforward having three or four colour tones to the much more intricate artworks consisting of thirty or more colours. As for the art itself, the designs choice shows off the fantastic range from animals, fruit, monsters, food, and countless more.

I have enjoyed my time with this game. Love Colors has the perfect balance of art and gaming that I love and has been an excellent choice for me to enjoy during my spare time, lunch hours, and relax after a long day at work. The title is well suited to the Nintendo Switch for the benefit of loading in and out on a whim and allowing for the additional input methods of fingers, stylus, and controllers.
