The sleuthing for who is voicing Mario and Luigi in future games can come to an end as the new voice actor has been revealed.
Kevin Afghani has announced on X that he is voicing both Mario and Luigi in Super Mario Wonder.

As Nintendo Life said in a post, following a data mine of the game, the voice of Mario and Luigi was down to two names (Afghani and Mick Wingert), but after Wingert’s agents denied they were playing the role, it was today that Afghani confirmed it was him.
Is this a one-off? Will Afghani do the full Mario and Mario-adjacent voices as Chris Martinet did from the early 90’s until this year when he retired from the role? We’ll have to wait to find out.
