At San Diego Comic-Con last week, it was revealed that the upcoming, highly anticipated Marvel’s Spider-Man x Magic: The Gathering set would be released on September 26.

Here’s a look at some cards that’ll be in the upcoming set, including some Showcase Scene cards, and artwork for cards coming directly from famous comic-book covers and moments.

Several different types of Spider-Man cards will be included in the set, which makes sense, given the vast web of Spider-Men throughout the multiverse. The set will feature other spiders too, like Spider-Gwen, Spider-Punk, and even Spider-Ham, Peter Porker.

The upcoming Magic: The Gathering – Marvel’s Spider-Man set will be Standard-legal, and will release in Play and Collector boosters, as well as having a Bundle and Scene box available for purchase.

There are even nine cards you can collect to complete a kick-ass looking scene in a panorama featuring a plethora of Spider-People and villains.

With the release of Magic: The Gathering – Marvel’s Spider-Man, Wizards of the Coast is choosing to unify the ‘Universe Beyond’ sets with those of standard MTG sets, eliminating the ‘Universe Beyond’ frame to ensure all cards share the same MTG style. A choice that solidifies the continuation of the Universe Beyond sets.
