Melbourne Cafe Visual Novel ‘Necrobarista’ Coming To PC August 8th

Necrobarista, the cel-shaded visual novel set in a Melbourne cafe from Australian and Melbourne based team Route 59 Games, have revealed August 8th to be the pouring date for this hot drink on PC.

I’ve played Necrobarista at the previous two PAX Melbourne’s and both times was highly intrigued by the art, setting and characters. I found the gameplay hard to grasp and truly judge in short bursts, which I wrote about in my preview from PAX last year.

The description for Necrobarista reads:

Stop in for a cup of coffee at The Terminal, a magical café in Melbourne, Australia frequented by living and dead customers. Staffed by a necromancer, this back-alley java house allows the deceased to return to the world of the living for one final day before shuffling off this mortal coil.

Kevin Penkin who did the score for last years amazing Florence is also doing the music for Necrobarista which is really exciting.

Necrobarista is releasing on PC for $14.99 USD with a 2020 release date scheduled for the PS4 and Nintendo Switch versions in the future.
