One more Naughty Dog game is being worked on alongside Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet. It’s not too surprising the studio would have another project on the go, but it is interesting to try and theorise what it could be, especially as Neil Druckmann, the head at Naughty Dog, isn’t involved hands-on with this game.
This news comes from Neil Druckmann’s conversation last week on the Press X to Continue podcast. He shared that he’s helping as a producer on this project but is also in more of a ‘mentor’ role and is mostly just giving feedback.
It’s unlikely this project has anything to do with The Last of Us, especially after the cancellation of The Last of Us Online. Given the amount of time between games now, it could be a new Uncharted game; however, it is more likely it’s another brand new IP, which would be exciting to picture two new IPs at Naughty Dog being worked on at the same time.
