I did not play the original Transport Fever and I gotta be honest and say that the sequel, Transport Fever 2, wasn’t something I’d look at all before today. But with 17-minutes of new gameplay now available from developer Urban Games I have a better understanding of this logistical sim and it looks very fun.
The video explains how several elements of the game work including the general goal, which is to build a successful and function transport system that includes things like trucks, trains, planes and more. You can set up truck lines from farms to come into the big cities and then move big items like steel from one side of the map using a plane. Eventually, you’ll start upgrading areas, making more money and expanding the cities. Inside the cities themselves, you’ll be making bus routes to make sure the busy people within the city can get about between work and shopping centres with ease.
Honestly, in the video, it can seem like A LOT, and it kinda is, but I appreciate how much detail is involved and the game also looks detailed.
