Netflix has confirmed the full cast of the upcoming Assassin’s Creed series, which is now in production, and revealed more details about when the story is set.

The series will be set in Rome in 64 AD and, as previously reported, will remain within the larger Assassin’s Creed timeline and universe. As with all Assassin’s Creed games, the heart of the narrative will still be focused on the secret battle between the Templar Order and the Assassin’s Brotherhood.

Roberto Patino (Westworld) and David Wiener (Halo) are the showrunners and executive producers of the series, which is expected to premiere in early 2027.
