In the spotlight video, People Can Fly expanded on these promises and acknowledged some of the people’s issues with the endgame at launch. With the new untimed Expeditions, the developer hopes that it will further build diversity and balance the rewards. Legendary loot has also seen an increase in drop rates, the ability to purchase at a vendor and a choice of three legendaries at the end of the Eye of the Storm Expedition. 

The new Expeditions will connect you with characters and events experienced in the main campaign and their own mini-stories. The new expeditions are called Molten Depths, City of Nomads, the Marshalls Complex and The Wellspring. The first of these will be available to new expedition players, and the rest unlock as you progress through the Expedition Challenge tiers. 

Outriders’ quality of life improvements include the ability to skip the intro video, which my eardrums are very thankful for; better customization for controllers; crossplay across all platforms; improving the stability of servers and general buffs across all the classes, especially to some of the lesser-used skills.
