Paramount+ has announced a Premium Tier and an Advertising Tier that’ll launch in Australia starting in November.
The Premium Plan is launching in Australia (as well as Brazil, Canada, and Mexico) on Thursday, 16 November. This new tier will add 4k UHD, HDR10 and Dolby Vision support. This tier will also allow up to four concurrent streams simultaneously instead of the two that come with the standard subscription.
The Premium Plan will cost $13.99 monthly or $124.99 annually.
An Advertising Tier will also be rolling out in 2024, starting in Australia and Canada.
There was no pricing given for the Advertising Tier at this stage.
“After expanding our footprint to more than 45 markets last year, we are focused on scaling our business and providing customer choice. Following the launch of the Mobile plan in Mexico and Brazil, the introduction of the Premium and Ad-supported plans will give us the ability to better serve different consumer segments by providing multiple pricing options while also tapping into tremendous opportunities among our advertising and brand partners,” said Marco Nobili, Executive Vice President, and International General Manager for Paramount+.
This news follows the reveal of a new Top Gear Australia, which will be coming to Paramount+ in Australia in 2024.
