PAX Australia 2026 will once again be the place to see the Cosplay Central Crown Championship.
This is the fifth year the Cosplay competition has taken place at PAX Australia, featuring cosplayers from around the country who showcase their craftsmanship and creativity, with a strong focus on how good Australians are at the craft.
The winner of this event will represent Australia at the Cosplay Central Crown Championship Global Final at MCM London Comic-Con in 2027.
This year, the Cosplay Central Crown Championship will feature some judges from around the world, including ‘Cinderys‘ from Paris, who is known for her work with Blizzard, Capcom and Bumgie; ‘Soylent Cosplay‘ from Sydney, known for her work with Bioware, Blizzard and PlayStation; ‘Spicythaidesign’ will round out the judges as a cosplayer known for their work with Wētā working on films such as Thor: Ragnarok, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, and Avatar: The Way of Water. The host will once again be ‘The Gem Cosplay,’ from Melbourne, known for their cosplay work and as a content creator and esports caster.
