PAX Australia announced they were cancelling the 2020 event yesterday and many had been wondering about PAX West following that news. Well, both events aren’t happening this year, but in their place comes PAX Online – a brand new PAX event.

“PAX Online is the result of the convention-organizing supergroup made up of the people responsible for PAX West, PAX Australia, as well as our new friends at EGX to create our new PAX Online and deliver a steady 24/7 stream of content, events, discussions, and gameplay.”

The event will bring as much as the PAX goodness to your home as is possible This means there will panels for you to check out each and every day of the 9-day event, esports events, virtual booths, game demos and even exclusive game reveal.

Jerry Holkins, co-founder of PAX said the following about the online event.

“PAX has always been a community first, from the attendees, panellists, exhibitors, to the incredible Enforcers who keep PAX going all year. PAX Online brings that shared experience home, along with game reveals, exclusive hands-on experiences, the chance to hear from and speak with your favourite game developers, plus so much more. Even if we can’t all meet in Seattle or Melbourne this year, we look forward to reconnecting with our friends and welcoming everyone to our new home, PAX Online. Technically, you’re already there.”

You can submit panels as per-usual and their open to your pitches for PAX Online right now! Just follow THIS link.
