Peaky Blinders fans can rest easy tonight as they’ll soon enough have more Cillian Murphy as Tommy Shelby on their screens, as Netflix has confirmed that they are working on a movie. 

As reported by Deadline, the script is being written by Steven Knight, creator of the series, with Tom Harper set to direct the feature later this year. 

According to Knight the film could be set during World War II, given Season 6 takes place during 1933-1934, but there’s no official synopsis or information available for when the film could be set, or what it could focus on.
