‘The Creep Tapes’ will see Mark Duplass return as his wolf-mask serial killer

The Creep Tapes will see the wolf mask return.

Mark Duplass has shared some cryptic videos on his TikTok in the last 24 hours before putting on the wolf mask and officially revealing The Creep Tapes as a series following Creep and Creep 2.

Each of the Creep films is filmed in a ‘found footage’ way, from the perspective of someone who was hired to film Duplass’ unnamed serial killer over a 24-hour period under false pretences. The series will reportedly follow the same set-up, with each episode introducing a new character behind the camera.

This will be the first follow-up since Creep 2 released seven years ago, and was one of my favourite horror films of that year. It built upon the darkly comedic script of the first film and introduced new twisted ways for the “Creep” to play with his victims.

Patrick Brice directed both the Creep films and has returned to directing each episode of this series.

The Creep Tapes is currently being shopped, and production has been completed.
