After being teased with several leaks, Plants vs. Zombies: Battle for Neighborville has finally been officially revealed with a gameplay overview video.
The video introduces you to the world of Neighborville, the new characters you’ll get to play as in the game, as well as the game modes. It all looks very colourful, fun and very much like an exciting next step in the PvZ franchise.

You can play online in 24-player matches, split-screen with a friend, or enjoy time in social hubs and meet up with friends. There’s also some kind of exploration mode, which seems to have some sort of story, but I’m not sure how much it’s going to be marketed as a ‘single-player story mode.’
Although the game is set to release on October 18th you can start playing now by purchasing the ‘Plants vs. Zombies: BFN Founders Edition’ right now for $44.95 or $40.45 for EA Access Members on PlayStation 4. This will give you early access to the game and help shape the content ahead of release. It’s just another wording for an early access version of a game of course, but this one is right around the corner and the upgrade to the standard edition upon release will come at no extra cost.
Are you excited for some more PvZ? The game will be available for PS4, Xbox One and PC Let us know in the comments.
