Do you remember Erica? The game was announced at Paris Games Week in 2017 as a PlayLink title coming from new developer Flavourworks. Well, it seems the game might be finally releasing, and sooner than you think.

The games trophies have gone live and with no release date in sight, but with Gamescom literally hours away, it’s hard not to put your tin-foil hat on and start a shadow drop conspiracy.

Is Erica the type of game to be super-exciting if it was released during Gamescom? No, but people get excited about shadow drops, not what the game is, or if it’s something they had heard of before.

As a live-action interactive experience, Erica looked interesting upon announcement. And the PlayLink title Hidden Agenda has proven how well interactive story-based decision games can work on a platform like this.
