An update is soon coming that’ll allow you to view battle information in Pokemon Violet and Pokemon Scarlet, and you’ll be able to transfer Pokemon between the games in 2023. 

The battle update, listed as coming in early 2023, will let you view information about Trainer ranking, frequently used Pokemon, their moves/abilities, Online Competitions and more. However, all this information will only be available on the mobile version of Pokemon Home, not the Nintendo Switch version of the app. 

Compatibility between Pokemon Scarlet/Violet and Pokemon Home is slated for Spring 2023. After this update launches, you’ll be able to transfer Pokemon from Scarlet/Violet to Pokemon Home and bring “select” Pokemon from past games in your Pokemon Home account to the Paldea region.
