Overnight a Pokémon Presents from the Pokémon Company delivered information on games, events and anime coming soon.
Here’s everything that was announced and talked about during the Pokémon Presents.
Pokémon World Championships
The Pokémon World Championships are beginning in just a couple of days. Although that event has had a rocky couple of months with the way it’s been put together, those lucky enough to attend will get some swag and enjoy a great show.
Pokémon: Path to the Peak
Pokémon: Path to the Peak is a new web mini-series focusing on characters playing the Pokémon Trading Card Game.
The first episode of Pokémon: Path to the Peak will be on Youtube on August 11th.
Detective Pikachu Returns
A brand new trailer for the upcoming Detective Pikachu Returns introduces the game’s characters.
Detective Pikachu Returns is set to release on Nintendo Switch exclusively on October 6th.
Pokémon Horizons
The final episodes of the Pokémon anime featuring Ash Ketchum haven’t finished airing in America yet, so who knows when they’ll finish up in Australia. Either way, we got a fresh look at the upcoming latest series, and the first not to feature Ash Ketchum, Pokémon Horizons.
Pokémon GO
There are two things to look forward to in Pokémon GO in the coming months: Pokémon GO Fest Global from the 26th-27th of August, and Paldea Pokémon making their debut in the game in September.
Pokémon Unite
Mewtwo License X is now available in Pokémon Unite, and from August 17th, you’ll be able to unlock Mewtwo License Y, which plays differently from Mewtwo X.
A new game mode is coming to Pokémon Unite soon as well called ‘Panic Parade.’ Players will work together in this mode to protect a Pokémon from enemies.
Pokémon Masters EX
Nemona and partner Pokémon Pawmot are coming to Pokémon Masters EX, and until August 28th, an in-game event will allow you to battle Nemona every day to earn gems.
On August 16th, Victor and partner Pokémon Spectrier will join the game as the new ‘Field Role’ sync pair.
Pokémon Cafe Mix
Tatsugiri is coming to Pokémon Cafe Mix, and if you complete an in-game event, one of them will join your staff.
Pokémon Classics
Pokémon Trading Card Game from the Game Boy Colour and Pokémon Stadium 2 from the Nintendo 64 are joining their respective Expansion Pack libraries from today.
Pokémon Sleep
‘Good Sleep Days’ are coming to Pokémon Sleep soon, earning you more drowsy power for your Snorlax.
Pokémon: Paldean Winds
Another new original web series, this one set in the Paldea region. This series is launching on September 6th.
Pokémon Scarlet & Violet
A 7-star Tera Raid Battle for Mewtwo is happening from the 1st to the 17th of September. And you can get Mew right now by entering ‘GETYOURMEW’ in the Mystery Gift Menu.
Pokémon Scarlet & Violet – The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero
More details on Part 1 of The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero were revealed alongside a release date. Part 1: The Tealk Mask will take place in Kitakami, where you’ll meet some new Pokémon, including Diplin, a new evolution of Applin. Players will also meet “The Loyal Three,” Okidogi, Munkidori, and Fezandipiti.
The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero – Part 1: The Teal Mask will release on September 13th.
