Are you still sleeping? Wait. Are you still sleeping and playing Pokémon Sleep? Good because developer Select Button has laid out plans for upcoming updates and events in a recent news post in the game.

If you’ve logged into the game recently or registered before September 2, you’ll receive a gift in-game containing X10 Poké Biscuit, X30 Handy Candy S, X1 Growth Incense & X1 Focus Incense.

The first major in-game event is happening in just under two weeks, on August 30, when the ‘Good Sleep Day event’ will happen. Other than that lining up with a full moon, there’s still no word on what this event will entail other than extra drowsy power happening during your sleep for that night.

It’s also presumed these ‘Good Sleep Days’ will continue on full moons, which will seem them occur on these days for the remainder of the year:

  • September 29

  • October 28

  • November 28

  • December 26

In terms of what things are currently under development for the game’s near future:

• Adding new Pokémon

• Adding more alarm sounds and Relaxing Sounds

• Implementing night mode for the loading screen

• Responding to an issue that makes it difficult to meet one’s bedtime

• Responding to an issue that makes it difficult to collect Berries, among other things, located near the edge of the screen

Known issues that are planned for improvement in the future are:

• Pokémon recovering Energy while inside the Pokémon Box

• An issue that causes the app to run slowly or freeze on some devices

• Further optimization of battery usage during sleep tracking
