Practice Your Skills In ‘Devil May Cry 5’s’ Void Mode
by Dylan Blight
Hideaki Itsuno, the director of Devil May Cry 5 walked through some new things for DmC 5 during the X018 presentation including a training mode being dubbed ‘Void Mode.’
Void Mode is just a training mode and looks eerily like the Bayonetta loading screens, but it’ll be helpful for fans and those looking to get the combos and mechanics of the game down to a fine tune.
New Devil Breakers were shown-off as well including the Gerbera GP01 a more nimble breaker and another called a Pasta Breaker. Oh and the Mega Buster from Mega Man, because of course.
The most interesting element of the nearly 6-minute video was just seeing Hideaki and DmC 5 producer Matt Walker touring the Capcom offices and the city of Osaka. The fact it all leads up to revealing a practice mode was kinda funny.
