One of the oddest but most interesting series to debut on Netflix in 2017 was The End of the F***ing World and now it’s back for a second season that looks just as peculiar.
Spoilers for the first season follow – duh.
The season finale for season one ended with James being shot down by police after they assumed he had kidnapped Alyssa. Of course, the two of them had been on a violent rampage together and she wasn’t being held captive at all.
Now, is James dead or does he survive? The only and only trailer in the lead up to the release of the second season doesn’t care to answer that at all. Hell, the trailer doesn’t want to give away anything at all. It’s a tone piece that features zero dialogue and instead flashes of Alyssa working at a restaurant, apparently getting married and our new character Bonnie who is being played by Naomi Ackie who is about to appear in The Rise of Skywalker.
