If you loved delivering packages in 2021’s Lake, it’s going to be a great Christmas for you as publisher Whitehorn Games and developer Gamious have announced the prequel holiday-themed DLC is going to be released in November.

In Lake: Season’s Greetings, you play Thomas Weiss, the father of Lake protagonist Meredith Weiss. There’s not going to be a twist in the core gameplay, which will still have you delivering mail in Providence Oaks, but if you would like to learn more about the characters you met in the base game from another character’s point of view — this is going to be the perfect DLC for you to check out.

Check out the trailer for Lake: Season’s Greetings below.

Key features of Lake: Season’s Greetings:

  • Travel back to 1985 and discover what Providence Oaks was like before Meredith through the eyes of her father during the winter holiday.
  • Enjoy a variety of after-work activities that include hanging with friends, staying in for a night of television, and going out like it’s 1985.
  • Experience a branching story that doesn’t shy away from slice-of-life themes. Like life, there are no right or wrong answers.

Lake: Season’s Greetings is coming to PC, Xbox and PlayStation on November 15, 2023.
