Professor Layton and the New World of Steam has been delayed to 2026.

Originally set to release at some point in 2025, Professor Layton and the New World of Steam hasn’t been seen for some time, and it makes sense now that we know the game has been rescheduled for release in 2026, with the news being shared on the official Level-5 website.

“LEVEL5 Inc. would like to begin by offering its sincere apologies to all fans who have been looking forward to the release of Professor Layton and the New World of Steam.”

Although the release was initially scheduled for 2025, to deliver the game in the best possible form, the launch has been rescheduled for 2026.

“We deeply regret any inconvenience this delay may cause and greatly appreciate your understanding and continued support.”
