It’s been a long time, but Quantum Error, the fire-fighting horror game, finally has a solid release date and will arrive on PS5 on November 3rd.

Fittingly, Quantum Error was announced initially around Gamescom 2020 and was featured on The Future Games Show that year. It was the first, or one of the first, PS5 games to get gameplay and was expected to launch sometime around the release of the PlayStation 5. Now, three years later, we have a release date and a brand new trailer for the game.

The latest trailer is WILD and showcases the story, which is more than just the ‘firefighter comes across weird supernatural stuff’ that the debut trailer had a few years ago. Now there’s sci-fi stuff, a boss who’s monologuing in a tech company building that’s obviously up to no good and lots of enemies to shoot.

Check all that out in the trailer below.

Developer TeamKillMedia is made up of just four brothers, so the game is quite an achievement. And you’ll be able to play Quantum Error in both third and first-person, as seen in the sixteen-minute gameplay video released on the teams’ Youtube channel.
