QuakeCon is back as a digital-only event in 2022.

For at least one more year, the annual event, usually held in Dallas, Texas, will be held digitally only in 2022. 

The team at Bethesda behind the event said that they “had to make decisions when there was still too much uncertainty to commit to successfully executing an in-person QuakeCon.” Although they’ve promised, they’re still working hard to put on a fantastic show for 2022 which will include streaming programming, online meetups, giveaways, charity opportunities, the virtual BYOC and much more. 

Bethesda lists the date for QuakeCon 2022 as August 18-20, 2022. This should work out to be August 19-21 for Australians.  

The team have stated that they are committed to a full in-person event in 2023.
