This morning Capcom unveiled more information on Resident Evil Village which got an official release date of May 7th, 2021.
Things kicked off with a brand new trailer showcasing Ethan Winters mission to save his kidnapped daughter. The trailer gave us a look at the creepy castle you’ll be exploring that’s ruled by the ‘tall-lady’ that Twitter had taken a liking too.
In the trailer, the tall-lady is seen talking on with someone called Mother Mirana and refers to the other women inside the castle as her daughters. Although they seem like ghost, vampire ladies to me.

Our first official look at Resident Evil Village gameplay shows off the highly detailed interior of the castle, and the games combat. You’ll have a lot of guns it seems, and the Resident Evil 4 inventory management system returns alongside The Merchant who’s now known as The Baron.

Following this, Capcom announced that Resident Evil Village would also be coming to PS4 and Xbox One alongside the previously announced PS5, XBX/S and PC.
An exclusive demo for PS5 will arrive later today, with a separate demo coming later this year for everyone.
