Risk Of Rain 2 Available In Early Access Right Now

Risk of Rain 2 was officially announced to be releasing in Early Access today during Gearbox’s PAX East panel.

The sequel to the roguelike hit mysteriously appeared on Steam an hour before the panel and player began playing as soon as it appeared. In the panel it was announced the game is releasing in Early Access as of today with a 12-month plan to work on the game and make sure it’s at the best quality before a full release.

“Consistent, meaningful content – We believe our experience with beta phases of development in the past means we can thoughtfully and consistently support Risk of Rain 2 during Early Access. We know it’s a big deal to ask for your money for an unfinished project, so we want to consistently deliver great updates like new characters, items, enemies, bosses, and environments.”

In Risk of Rain 2, you’ll be able to play solo or with three other friends as you loot, shoot, die and repeat in your attempt to make your way off the planet.
