Samsung unveiled the Samsung Galaxy S26 series of phones and the Samsung Galaxy Buds4 series of earbuds this morning.

The new phone range will include the Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26+ and Galaxy S26 Ultra, which will see the biggest improvements. The Buds4 range includes the Buds4 and the Buds4 Pro.

A standout feature of the Galaxy S26 Ultra announced was the addition of a built-in Privacy Display that uses an actual screen protector, which is quite interesting. The Galaxy S26 Ultra also sees huge improvements in its chipset with the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, as well as in its thermal management, all to make the AI system faster and more powerful, making it the biggest upgrade of the three phones. The Galaxy S26 Ultra is also the slimmest Ultra the Samsung team has produced yet, coming down 0.3mm from last year’s Ultra 25. The phone also features ‘Super-Fast Charging 3.0,’ for even faster charging times.

“We believe AI should be something people can depend on every day, designed to work consistently for everyone and without the need for expertise,” said TM Roh, Chief Executive Officer, President, and Head of Device eXperience (DX) Division at Samsung Electronics. “With the Galaxy S26 series, we focused on making AI feel effortless, working quietly in the background so people can focus on what matters.”

All S26 phones will receive updates to their camera systems, with the 50MP telephoto lens and the 200MP wide lens both seeing significant brightness improvements. The S26 Ultra gets extra features, including upgrades to nightograpgy video, and an upgraded Super Steady. Plus, the S26 Ultra is the first Galaxy phone to support the APV code for a professional-grade video codec.

The Samsung S26 phones will be available in Cobalt Violet, White, Black, and Sky Blue 25, as well as the Samsung website exclusives Pink Gold and Silver Shadow.

The Buds range sees an updated, sleeker design, with improvements to the eadbud heats after extensive testing. Samsung says they will fit better in all manner of heads. The Bud4 Pro will feature a wider woofer for deeper sound, as well as updates to Active Noise Cancellation and the buds’ Adaptive Equaliser, aiming to deliver the best sound Samsung has put into the Bud range.

“Samsung understands that a truly premium audio experience combines technical sound quality with how that sound feels throughout a user’s day,” said Ikhyun Cho, Corporate VP of Mobile Enhancement R&D Team, Mobile eXperience. “With the Galaxy Buds4 series, our design philosophy was uncompromising, providing all-day comfort without sacrificing audio performance, because these are what consumers value most. We engineered our most powerful hi-fi audio and our most secure, ergonomic fit to enhance one another, delivering the best and most satisfying listening experience we’ve ever created.”

The Samsung Galaxy S26 and Buds4 series is available for pre-order today and will launch on March 11.
