Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II will finally be playable in 60fps when the ‘enhanced’ version of the game arrives on Xbox Series X|S, PC, and for the first time, it’ll be on PlayStation 5.

The 60fps Performance Mode will be available for PC, Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5; however, it won’t be an option for Xbox Series S players. There will also be a fidelity push for those wanting to play on PC and use the new ‘Very High’ preset. And if you want to take the story of Senua on the go, it’s now going to be Steam Deck verified.

The team at Ninja Theory have also shared that the ‘Dark Rot’ from the first game will be returning as an optional way to play Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II. When you play with this, each death will see the rot growing up Senua’s body, and if it reaches Senua’s head, your progress will, supposedly, all be lost.

Additional content that’ll be available with this new edition of the game includes an enhanced photo mode and a developed commentary option.

There is also a ‘Deluxe Edition’ available, which includes Hellblade: Senua’s Saga, optimised for PlayStation 5. It’ll be a free upgrade for those who already own the PlayStation 4 game, however.
