Star Wars Episode I: Jedi Power Battles is coming to PC & consoles on Jan 23

Aspyr has revealed they are working on another remaster of a classic Star Wars game to add to their long-growing list of releases.

Star Wars Episode I: Jedi Power Battles was initially released on the PlayStation and Dreamcast before being brought over to the Game Boy Advance a year later. And now it’ll arrive on the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X}S, Nintendo Switch and PC on January 23 2025, and of course, it features such updates to bring it into the modern era while looking to retain what fans would love about the game.

This is another Star Wars game that was released following The Phantom Menancei that loosley follows the plot of the film. At release, the hack-and-slash combat of this side-scroller was criticised for its difficulty, mainly put down to its controls. However, this release from Aspyr will have both the original control scheme and an updated one. Pair that with all the secret characters being unlocked from the get-go, and it’s probably not going to be the same level of difficulty as back in 2000.
