Shigeru Miyamoto introduced Anya Taylor-Joy, who voices Peach and Seth Rogen (and his dog named Zelda) before showing off the latest trailer for the upcoming Super Mario Bros. Movie.
The trailer showcases a lot more of the Mario-verse of characters than the first one did, with Peach being at the forefront. Mario looks more like a bumbling hero than the leading man he usually seems like in the game, but that may suit Chris Pratts’s performance better.

I love the look of Peach in this and having her and Toad be the ones who seem to be leading the fight against Bowser. The use of as much as the Mario games and their spin-offs seems excellent as well. The start of the trailer appears to be a Smash Bros reference, while we also get a Tanooki suit Mario and even freaking Rainbow Road from the Mario Kart games, which is wild.
